To use the Logger class include Logger.h
You can then choose to manage your own Logger instance(s) for applicable parts
of your program. OR, you can call Util::Logger::initMainLogger(Logger*) and the
provided Logger will be accesible as the macro MAIN_LOGGER.
The constructor of Logger is documented as:
/* @param fileName The log file
* @param level Only messages with log-level lower than or equals to level will be logged
* @param timestampEnabled If true, a timestamp will be pre-fixed in every log message
*/
Logger(const std::string &fileName = "logFile.txt", int level = FINE, bool timestampEnabled = true);
All loggers can log to logFile.txt - the messages will just be interleaved, but
you may want say individual mind agents to have their own log files.
level is one of:
static const int ERROR = 0;
static const int WARNING = 1;
static const int INFO = 2;
static const int DEBUG = 3;
static const int FINE = 4;
defined in Util::Logger.
You can also enable() and disable() the log.
The method setPrintToStdoutFlag(bool flag) is useful for getting the Logger to
print to stdout. Loggers don't do this by default.
