render: restore the --fg-faint contrast fix the design pass silently reverted
--fg-faint is timestamps, handles, meta rows and card hosts — most of the secondary text in the app. Measured on --bg #fff: #8b95a1 3.04:1 FAIL <- what actually shipped #6b7480 4.74:1 PASS <- what the sheet already said it should be The fix existed. Line 647 set :root{--fg-faint:#6b7480} under the comment "The faint grey was ~3.5:1 on white — below the 4.5:1 needed for small text". The later design-pass :root redefined it to #8b95a1 and won, so the shipped value was WORSE than the 3.5:1 the fix was written to correct, and the fix read as live. Removed the now-dead earlier definition and moved its rationale to the surviving token, because a value with no reason next to it is what got reverted the first time. Verified by computed-style fingerprint (1350 properties, before vs after): the only values that moved are rgb(139,149,161) -> rgb(107,116,128), across 8 color and 20 border-color properties. Dark mode: 0 lines changed — its own --fg-faint (#79838f, 4.91:1) already passed and was untouched. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
